 * I went to cPanel and used the DB Management tool to repair the table.
 * After that, everything worked.

 * Weirdly, I returned to my site to find that the ZotPress plugin was no longer
   connected to my account.

 * What I’m still not getting is the in-text citations.
 * I am seeing this error in the console. It looks relevant:

 * Yes, many times. I even pressed the Reset ZotPress button.
 * The stuff that’s supposed to be happening is in the back end, then, and you can’t
   tell from the front end what’s going on? I can look at files on my server. Is
   there anything I can tell you about? I REALLY want this to work again. There’s
   no good alternative to it.

 * I’m having the spinning problem, too. I don’t get the citations even when I preview.
   I never get them… but last year it was working. I don’t know what it stopped 
   working but it must have been with some update of WordPress.
 * What does that spinning wheel actually indicate? What specific call or calls 
   is not happening, do you think?

   I tried with Edge and with Brave browsers.

 * I should also say that the page used to work. It must have stopped working with
   one of the updates of WordPress.
