 * Sorry to not give an answer–just another person who’d really like to know how
   to do this. I’ve read a few articles on [how to do it](http://bradchoate.com/weblog/2003/07/15/movable-type)
   with [Movable Type](http://www.movabletype.org), but would really like to know
   how to do it in WordPress. The valid XHTML and CSS is appealing, and I’ve gotta
   say this site looks darn good.
    I want to be able to edit the static content
   from within WordPress—not just get content from a static file. Any help would
   be appreciated.

 * Okay… there’s already a [thread](http://wordpress.org/support/5/2230) about this!
   I’ll look for updates in there instead.

    I’m not really interested in paying money 😛 I don’t
   mind fiddling with things mysql, but I want the staff of my college to be able
   to update thing easily. I’ve been coding the site by hand until now.
