Facing fatal error with the WP User Frontend Plugin
Please make sure that you’ve already done the theme & plugin conflict test properly. If you haven’t yet, please follow the below procedures for testing purposes.
- Deactivate all plugins except the latest version of the WP User Frontend Plugin.
- Use a default theme, such as twenty-twenty or twenty-twenty-one.
- Use the default language on your website.
- Make sure you’re using PHP version 8.1 on your website.
- Clear your site cache as well as the browser cache, and try the process again.
If you are still having the problem, then kindly contact through the website for further assistance.

Hi @blinky112,
There is no integration between Ultimate Member and the WP User Frontend Plugin, so I recommend using either one. Conflicts may occur if both plugins are used at the same time.
Hope this is helpful.
Please update to the latest version of WPUF (v4.0.7) on your website to resolve your issues. Please try now and let me know the update.

Hi @wailtail,
Unable to upload webp images using WP User Frontend
Currently, WebP image support is not available with the WP User Frontend. Therefore, there are no settings available to enable WebP image uploads for the featured image.
I’ve already added this request to our roadmap. I hope it will be included in our upcoming release.
Hope you understand.

Hi @sirkgn,
Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention.
If your Inodes count is indeed below the limit, it’s crucial to ensure that you’re not exceeding the allocated quota. You might consider contacting your hosting provider to confirm the specific Inodes limit for your account and whether any adjustments can be made if necessary.
Hope this information will help.
Regards!
Hi @carlangas99,
Experiencing a problem with uploading media files.
Thank you for reaching out regarding the issue you’re experiencing with our plugin.
It appears that there might be a configuration or setting conflict causing the uploaded images to be set as the profile photo and cover photo automatically. This behavior is not intended, and I understand your frustration.
To troubleshoot this problem, kindly contact us through the website.

I suggest downgrading the PHP version to PHP 7.4 since we are currently using an older PHP version.

Hi @joncon62,
Firstly, to troubleshoot this issue, we’ll need to ensure that the redirection settings within WP User Frontend are configured correctly. Please follow these steps:
- Navigate to your WordPress dashboard.
- Go to WP User Frontend → Settings.
- Under the Login/Registration tab, locate the Redirect After Login option.
- Ensure that you’ve set the redirection to the homepage after login.
If the redirection settings appear to be correctly configured, but the issue persists, it could be due to a conflict with another plugin or your theme. To rule out conflicts, please follow these steps:
- Temporarily deactivate all other plugins except WP User Frontend.
- Switch to a default WordPress theme like Twenty Twenty-One.
- Test the login redirection behavior again.
If the issue no longer occurs with other plugins deactivated and using a default theme, it indicates a conflict. You can then reactivate your plugins and theme one by one, testing the redirection behavior after each activation, to identify the conflicting element.
If the issue persists even after following the above steps, Please contact through the website for further assistance.
Note: This forum prohibits us from requesting website credentials to investigate the issue.
Hope you understand.
Best regards,
