    Hello Steve,

    I have been unable to use Taxopress PRO since I purchased the product and I was unable to activate the PRO version. My computer system was compromised by a not very nice person which caused much inconvenience which included not being able to get Taxopress PRO working.

    With a little bit of work this morning my Taxopress PRO version is now working so the good news that I will be able to make use of the product.

    Thank you, Richard

    I will start again – I will be more careful this time.

    I have defined two highlight Colors – “Highlight One” and “Highlight Two”. I cannot change “Color” of the text to the desired value.

    Shortcode title: Highlight Two
    Shortcode description: Highlights text – color formatted as #rrggbb
    Shortcode tag name: highlight_two
    Default content: Default content

    Attribute 1
    Field label: Background color
    Attribute name: background_color
    Field type: color
    Default value: #3cb371 [green]
    Description: Background color

    Attribute 2
    Field label: Color
    Attribute name: color
    Field type: color
    Default value: #ffff00 [yellow]
    Description: Color

    When I insert a new “Highlight Two” shortcode, the preview shows the “Color” as yellow which changes to cyan after a few seconds.

    When I view the page, the text is black with the background green.

    The field type for Attribute 1 should be “Color”. It has been defined correctly in the shortcode.

    Robert, What is the situation with this issue? The issue has been marked as resolved but unfortuately it has not. I am using the classic editor which may make a difference.

    Also, I cannot see how to set categories for a post. Hide Title, Hide Post Date, Hide Post Categories, Hide Post Tags are all unchecked. I can assign tags but not categories. The assigned categories for each post is shown in the all pages list. I would be grateful if you could assist in resolving this issue. I think it is very close to working really well.

    On your website https://robfelty.com/plugins , you list an Image Browser plugin. Is this available to download?

    You state on the webpage that you get the gallery below by utilising the shortcode [imagebrowser category=10]. There is no gallery below.

    Greetings

    I will start at the beginning so you do not have to look at previous posts to understand what I wish to achieve.

    I wish to implement Subcategories but it is not clear to me how I can do this.

    I have attached an image of a partial list of Categories and subcategories from WordPress with the following 2 sets of Categories and their sub-categories defined. (How do I attach an image?)

    Diseases

    • Cardiovascular
    • Diabetes and Obesity
    • Kidney

    Immune system

    • Arthritis
    • Auto-immune diseases
    • White blood cells

    I am using WordPress Classic Editor.

    On my web (wisenutritioncoaching.com.au), in the right panel I have a list of Categories. I can move the Categories and Subcategories widget to appropriate panel underneath the Categories widget.

    The Categories and Subcategories widget include the following options.

    • Title is parent category
    • Show full sub-category tree
    • Show post counts
    • a list of Categories to exclude

    I click on UPDATE.

    I am informed that “Widgets are saved”.

    However, nothing has changed. In the right panel, I see my list of Categories.

    The Categories and sub-categories are not displayed underneath my list of Categories

    Where is my list of Categories and sub-categories? What is required to display my Categories and sub-categories?

    I do not understand the response I received on 3rd January 2023

    “You create sub categories in the standard way in the admin section. This is just a widget to show them it doesn’t set them up for you. Once you organise your categories and add them to your content the widget will work correctly.”

    I have already created my Categories and sub-categories in WordPress. I have placed the Categories and sub-categories widget below the Categories on the Sidebar and set the options. WordPress has informed me that the Widgets have been saved.

    So, where is my Categories and sub-categories list?

    Greeting Ajay

    If I type “bovine”, I get 5 pages returned. If I enter “leukemia”, get 2 pages. Entering “bovine leukemia”, I receive 6 pages.

    If I type “caution”, I receive 3 pages. “amsterdam” returns 8 pages and “amsterdam caution” returns 10 pages.

    I want to know how I get the pages that have both search terms “bovine leukemia” or “amsterdam caution” NOT either of the search terms.

    Note: All the search items are entered without quotes.

    Is there a way of using some form of boolean operators such as AND, OR, NOT (or +, -, ~) to refine searches?

    It would be really good if the number of posts/pages that are returned is displayed. I am guessing that it is the theme that displays that information. Is that true?

    This product is no longer supported.

    Some available shortcodes are:

    [dkpdf-pagebreak]
    [dkpdf-remove]Stuff to remove[/dkpdf-remove]

    I think there are others but these are the only ones that I have used.

    I have already downloaded and installed WPTC plugin (many times).

    * Welcome to WP Time Capsule page is displayed
    * Attempt to logon in using my WP administrators username/password – which is correct
    * The response is ‘Username or password is incorrect’
    * Click the Forgot link
    * I am returned to the Hello That! page
    * Re-enter my site’s wp-admin URL
    * I am returned to the Add Plugins page in order to install WPTC
    * An endless loop – unable to proceed.

    Greetings Marcel

    There were two plugins that were causing problems. It did take me sometime to workout which plugins were the culprits and then to reorganise my website so they were no longer necessary.

    I also changed the the site-description font-size from larger to inherit which made a big difference to the appearance.

    /* To eat fully consciously connects us to the miracle of all life */
    .site-description {
    text-transform: none;
    font-size: inherit;
    }

    Chrome, Firefox, Opera and Microsoft Edge are all presenting the website satisfactorily but very differently.

    I have only just managed to get Text Resizer working again. I do not really know what I did that caused it to start working. It took much fiddling without really knowing what I was doing.

    Thank you for your plugin. I suspect its apparent simplicity hides much detail.

    Do you have a donation link?

    Richard
