I don’t think it’s a plugin conflict as everything was playing nicely together before wp-super-cache got involved and I ripped it out in the worse way possible (deleted the folder). * The only reason the plugins are even functioning at this point is because I added them back into the active_plugins row in the database. * I’m tempted to upgrade but this is a live site and it scares me to have it blow up again after such a late night last night. I think I’m going to install a second WP, feed it the same database and slowly migrate everything over. Here’s what I do: * 1) make all the changes/additions you want in visual mode and save the widget. * 2)Edit the widget again, only this time look at in HTML mode, and save it. (you’ll notice all the tags are there) * 3) Commit your changes and it should work. * Long story short is line breaks don’t seem to “stick” when you commit your sidebar changes in visual mode. Hopefully this and a few other bugs will get fixed in an update. I added the # of widgets I needed then switched back to Firefox 3 to do the editing.
