 * When you switch from theme to theme. Often, the main menu can get jumbled. All
   you have to do is go back into appearance>menu and click back on the main menu
   that you are using, then save.
 * I wish I had started with a child theme for this project I am working on. What
   I did do is decide that I won’t do any theme updates. My theme is quite old.
   I don’t think that they would do any updates that are important. So I installed
   a theme update blocker plugin.
 * Good luck to you!

 * I basically just fixed my issue by switching back to my parent theme that worked
   and installing a plugin (Child Theme Configurator) that generates the correct
   child theme information for me.

 * I am having the same issue.
 * It is not the problem but your screenshot shouldn’t be a .php it is supposed
   to be a .png which is an image file.
 * But the contents of our child theme look good. But what do I know, my site is
   experiencing the same glitch. Good Luck. Ill write back if I fix mine.

 * That is amazing!! Thank you. I can tweak most of it to do what I want with padding
   and margin.
 * But for some reason it doesn’t want to
    align: center;
 * what should I do?

 * This is my first wordpress site. I started messing with the code and then later
   found out about child themes. I am currently not using a child theme. I am transiting
   to one. However, I would still like to know where to place the new header code
   so it is above the page not on the white of the page.
 * Thanks!
