Sounds like a plan, I’ll give it a go, thanks! (Come to think of it, the post status should be in the plugin options as well 🙂
I actually took a quick look at the importer before posting, and found the media_sideload_image() reference – and at that point decided that I was out of my depth 🙂

Sure thing – it’s http://stocksfamily.org/photos.
Looking at your site, it seems that something odd is happening with the path. The link rendered in the page is (for example) http://stocksfamily.org/album/72157625269443405/mexico/, which doesn’t work. If I edit this to http://stocksfamily.org/photos/album/72157625269443405/mexico/ it displays correctly.
Now to try and work out why…
