After you set it up and get a SharedCount API Key, configure Simple share to use it (Share button settings > counters). No, it still doesn’t work. Some other people report as you do that it works for them, but not for our group of people (we’ve tried different Wifis and Pc’s) e.g. this link also shows the same problem. But the problem is intermittent and not easy to recreate. Our site does have dozens of other plugins and we have a custom theme based on Designwall DW Focus. But those troubles started only after updating to 4.6. I’m sure the issue is not connected to plugins because I have not installed a new plugin in months. We only did a few updates to existing plugins in the last few weeks. * Oue editor has been updated to version 1.2.6.3 and we also have W3 Total cache 0.9.5.1. It has been reporting this error in the last month or so- see below – but the problem started way after this error message. * many thanks for any help. * W3 Total Cache error: It appears Page Cache URL rewriting is not working. Please verify that the server configuration allows .htaccess Unfortunately disk enhanced page caching will not function without custom rewrite rules. Secondly, it forces all external links to become _blank links regardless of the HTML set in the post itself. i.e. it ignores whatever setting the wordpress editor shows for the links. could lead to confusions if, lets say, one particular link is wished to be non _blank. We also want to track 2nd level sharers- i.e. not only sites that mention our posts, but other sites that refer to these sites (i.e. don’t mention our posts directly but mention sites who mention our posts… if you catch my drift… ) impossible?
