I’ve looked it up on the website of my host and it says free SSL when you have web-hosting + domain-name from them. * Because we only kept the domain-name for the first site and stopped the web-hosting i assume SSL will not be included with that. No need to disable that setting but there’s always “a certain security risk”. * Thanks for your time & replies David. I will continue to regular backup with Updraftplus. We advice only to enable and use these functions when necessary: exec, passthru, shell_exec, system, proc_open, popen” * After turning this option on the backup the error message disappeared and the backup started again. * Strange as i hadn’t changed settings in the control panel or touched that button. * How big is the risk when you leave those functions enabled? Tried various of the options but none showed any of the lightboxes. Then i deactivated the plugin and click on update and it was ready within 5 seconds..
