I do have a cache plugin but I don’t have access to the dashboard or admin bar because I can’t get to the login screen. I cleared the browser cache and still no luck. I guess I’m just going to have to reinstall everything. I renamed it back (it was a suggestion in one of the blog posts about how to fix this problem), it didn’t have a bad effect because like I said, it was already broken. * I still am getting the “The site is experiencing technical difficulties. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.” error, so no I am unable to access my dashboard. So, I got the login page correct and now the site displays all the pages but after I updated the permalinks I got this: “The site is experiencing technical difficulties. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.” I never received an email and the error log doesn’t seem to show anything that would relate to this. * I renamed my plugins folder and it’s not that. I also renamed my theme folder, still got the error. Already changed DNS servers last night and it is already redirecting to the site, it’s just that everything else about the site redirects to the old domain but the home page comes up under the new domain. * I figured out how to get the login page, so I’m in! But now, it is still redirecting to the old page in some cases even after doing a search and replace for links. Also, some of the pages aren’t there. It’s weird, I did a manual migration and compressed everything from the old site.
