 * In a closed Post you asked about moving the logo to the left.
    See Site Identity
   then Site Icon. When you put it in there is a Logo Size slider. Does that get
   the logo out of the way?

 * The change from the Classic Editor to the Block Editor is handled more gracefully
   in the new version of WordPress. You could also revert to the Classic Editor.

 * I can get multiple images with the Block Editor, but just images and a one-line
   comment.
 * The Block Editor will also let you create columns, independent of CSS.
