 * I got it fixed, not quite perfect but close enough.

 * Not fixed yet, working on it. I am by no means an expert on this, This is a static
   title, looks like the first slider plugin I tried doesn’t have a static option.

 * I think I have discovered what caused my problem. I have a local copy of the 
   site on my PC and looking at the source code for the version that works correctly
   I see “– START Slider 1 REVOLUTION SLIDER 6.2.22 -“. Somewhere along the line
   that plugin got removed. Now need to find a no-cost way to replace it. We are
   a low budget volunteer operation so don’t want to spend the dollars that Slider
   Revolution wants for the current versions.

 * I am not using any site builder, I just use Classic editor and Block editor.

 * The theme they are using is Chariti Child.
 * Your css code is way over my head, like I said I am a novice. This site supports
   a low budget non-profit organization that provides no-cost labor to build wheelchair
   for those in need. This site was originally done by some “processional” folks
   on a gratis basis. They want money to do any maintained on it so I am doing what
   I can and have made good progress.
 * I did try removing the figure wrapper lines and that fixed the column header 
   problem but it removed the lines between the table cells. I guess we could live
   with that.

 * I am sorry, I am very much a novice. I do not see line-height: 0 anywhere to 
   change it to line-height: 1. below is the code.

 * Got it fixed, I installed the classic-widgets plugin and that reviled what I 
   needed.

 * Thanks, the additional CSS worked perfectly.
 * When I open WordPress Dashboard > Appearance > Widgets. I get a bunch of errors
   such as “The “text” block was affected by errors and may not function properly.
   Check the developer tools for more details.” I think as a result I am not seeing
   the undesired text.
