 * Also, the sidebars are still gone when I switch out to other themes. This suggests
   to me that whatever is wrong is independent of the theme files, but I’m not sure
   where to dig now.
 * Can anyone suggest where this would be if it’s not in the theme files? Is my 
   logic correct?

 * Root- I’m using the [Modernpaper](http://themes.performancing.com/) theme from
   performancing. The blog is [here](http://www.calcasapublicpolicy.org). I’d like
   to move one of those columns to the left side of the post column.

 * Thanks, I appreciate the help.
 * Actually, I know how to pick themes, and I’ve even customized the one I’m using
   a lot. That’s why I’d like to learn how to to this one additional thing that 
   I haven’t been able to find.
 * If you don’t want to help, then don’t. Let someone tell me where to find the 
   information or how to do it. Otherwise, stop being a jerk and let a person learn.
