I had a problem with my comments, whenever I hit no comments, wordpress would display a subdirectory index page from the site. Well it turns out that I had the permalink structure defined in a way that caused the spurious page to display. So when I removed the permalink customization, lo and behold comments became enabled. Looks like I will have to study the concept an implemntation of permalinks a little more closely. Ta ta for now! I am completely new to this program, and fantastico installed the program automatically for me. I don’t know how to validate the page is ther site I can go to to enter a url which will then validate the url?
