 * FIXED IT
 * I downloaded 3.4.2 agaiun and compared the code in my comments-post.php (or whatever
   it was called) with the re-downloaded one.
 * They were totally different. I’m not sure if a plugin substituted teh new stuff
   but having replaced it withthe fresh download it all works fine.

 * Just a quick update.
 * I have discovered that it is able to post comments via the dashboard in reply
   to other comments. It is still not letting me, or anyone else, post a comment
   from the normal ‘comment’ box at the foot of a post.
 * At first I thought it was a maybe a problem with my server but now I think its
   something to do with the ‘comment’ code/widget? Either its not pointing somewhere
   it should or I don’t know what.
 * Does this give anyone any ideas what I should be doing?

 * Sorry – should have said. Yes I tried this and still didn’t work. I’m able to
   create and other new content just not comments.
 * Really bugging me!
