 * This has also now been fixed! I was toggling between two different accounts. 
   Only one of the Author accounts had posted to the event calendar, the other Author
   profile had no events since it was only a test profile.
 * Wordpress only allows each Author profile to edit their own posts, thus the reason
   I could not see the edit function through Author #2.

 * Fixed! I had changed over to the Contributor role, and that role doesn’t have
   the ability to upload images. By changing back to the Author role, those options
   now appear.

 * Thanks for your quick response. I recently figured out the trick! I need to double-
   click for a color change to be accepted! It is a nice little countdown plugin–

   just downloaded wordpress 2.9.2
