 * For editing posts, permissions, I only want administrators and the post’s author
to be able to see the edit button and ultimately edit the post. If I select the
Role of author, it means ANY author, not just that post’s author, correct?
 * Under Permissions, Dynamic Selections there is a search field. How do I select
only the post author? I tried to enter key terms into the search like “post”
and “author” but nothing came up.

 * So sorry! Maybe this is a separate ticket, do you want me to start a new thread?
The edit post function is now not working for me. I can go in and edit it, but
it doesn’t save the changes I make.
 * Also, and this is so minor because I can work around this, but the ACF has the
ability to only show a field if another field is filled out. For example, I collect
instagram links and handles. It only asks for the link if you filled out handle,
and IF you filled out handle, link is required. This still works well when creating
a post through the front end post creator. But when editing a post, all fields
are showing, and the fields which are required will not let you submit unless
they are filled out, even though the shouldn’t be showing with the conditional
display. Does that make sense? I know I can work around this by not making those
fields required, but it also makes for way more fields showing (I have 4 of these
kinds of conditional fields), and it also is nice to require one field based
on another, if that makes sense.
 * Sorry, now I feel like I’m totally monopolizing your time….

 * AHHH! Thank you!! I wasn’t using WYSIWYG and I actually much prefer that for
this purpose so thank you so much for this!! You fixed all my problems in a couple
of days, honestly, I think this is so incredible!!!

 * OH no!! I think it broke the mapping for the content field. The post title and
excerpt seem to be working but I cannot select the ACF field for the content.
Let me know when this gets fixed because it kind of breaks my form. Thanks really
   appreciate all you’re doing!!

 * NO WAY!!! Dude, I am so impressed. Thank you!! Digital high five, friend! Now

 * Thank you for providing that. Unfortunately what you posted is above my skill
level, hahaha! I would need a lot of hand holding to get that working. But thank
you so much for trying! I hope you will add that functionality soon!

 * On the back end if you remove those fields, they will not populate in the final
post on the front end, I have tested it. If I am wrong, please let me know.
 * If you have a link to show me help me get the manual excerpt working I would
greatly appreciate it. Right now I am having to go in and manually copy and paste
the excerpt from the custom ACF to the excerpt in the post, so that I can have
custom text displaying in the archive view. It is pretty annoying.

 * Thank you for the response!!
 * 1. I finally figured out that I had to create a new ACF field group for registration
fields. For some reason I thought that it would use the fields for registration
from WordPress. I got it working
 * 2. Yeah I did that. That does correct the problem of it not populating the correct
field, but it does not correct that it is a duplication of the default fields
instead of a replacement. But I think that may just be a limitation of ACF not
   your plugin.
 * One last thing
    3. Do you happen to know if there is a way to create a field
that populates the manual excerpt section?
