Post Notif is not fully compatible with most current WordPress 4.9.x. It does not need knowledge or special capabilities to test anything because you’re not into the background of programming. I am not in this as well, but I’ve worked in this environment so I am used to get new software and ‘play’ with it. * Maybe it’s not the best idea to do this on a LIVE platform, because if a Plugin is new and ‘untested’ strange things could come up and messing with your Website, although every Author is endeavor to avoid anything of this. He is going to rewrite the Plugin anyway so he kept my E-Mail for this to test his early version then. He did not give a a time-frame when this is going to happen. * Meanwhile I am using the old version of Postnotif with no problems so far. Just until the author dispeared from the web. It’s an old one of course, but it was good enough. I doubt it is not the fault of the PlugIn, I did something wrong maybe.
