 * I’m here: [https://wp-events-plugin.com/tutorials/adding-custom-event-search-form-fields/](https://wp-events-plugin.com/tutorials/adding-custom-event-search-form-fields/)
 * But is there not a more simple way to just bring in and edit the default search
   bar template?

 * I need to return an array not a string. I am trying to print the returned value
   to discern what will be used as the separator for the explode() function
 * $posts = EM_Events::get(array(‘scope’=>’future’), false); ?

 * create a directory in your parent theme, plugins > events-manager > templates
   > format, in format add the single_event_format.php
 * edit the format template as you wish and have fun coding! 🙂
