 * Sorry I wasn’t more clear. The footer I see is text that I created when I setup
   my website. I edited the footer.php file but my text is not in footer.php now.
   But my footer is still displayed.
 * I cleared cache but that didn’t help.

 * There is no line that like in my functions.php file. Is that the correct file?

 * I’m using the default theme Twenty Eleven. The thumbnail image is fine, it’s 
   the larger image that doesn’t display on the top half of the page when viewing
   that page. What displays is that default sea image where the sea washes up against
   the somewhat flat rocks.
