 * Not exactly sure. It didn’t start happening until after the last major update.
   Used the earlier version without issue.

   Not really much to speak of.
 * Using an Elegant Themes theme. Other than that, nothing really unusual about
   this install.

 * I’ll add to this that I got this same error out of the clear blue sky today.
   Replacing:
 * require_once(ABSPATH . ‘wp-admin/includes/dashboard.php’);
 * with
 * require_once(‘includes/dashboard.php’);
 * Resolves the issue. Any ideas why?

 * Sorry it took so long to get back here to answer this, but Alex, you are 100%
   correct. It is the Snap plugin that is causing the problem. I spent about an
   hour on it yesterday disabling all plugins and then re-enabling each one-by-one.(
   Would have saved time if I stopped back here.) As soon as I enabled Snap it broke
   WP-Mobile.
 * All is well now, thanks.

 * Also broken… If you use Press This and, after saving a draft, press the Edit
   link at the top of the Press This window, nothing happens.

 * As of a few weeks ago Fatcow now provides free WordPress hosting. Just install
   and go. (I’d like to think that I’m responsible for that! 😉

 * I can’t post this as resolved, as the original post is not mine, but I have resolved
   this issue. Quite simply, the TypePad blog I was trying to import was just too
   dang large to suck into WP in one chunk. Instead I had to break the blog posts
   into about 10 smaller pieces. While that was a hassle, it worked fine and I’ve
   now successfully imported everything I needed to.
 * A word to the developer crowd. If there’s any way to trap this problem in the
   script it would be great to have some kind of feedback from the import app that
   says, “Too many records! Shrink the bugger down!”

 * Mmm… tried the name change thing and, at least for me, ended up with the same
   result. No posts. No import.

 * I have this exact same issue and this has only happened SINCE the addition of
   the new import MT tool. I’ve imported from MT in the past with no problems, but
   that was using the old method of changing and then running the import-mt.php
   file. Import-mt.php no longer appears to be available and it also appears that
   importing MT files is now broken.

 * In order for you to have WordPress work on a fatcow server you need to create
   a MySQL DB, which you’ve done, plus you need to make sure that you have fatcow’s
   CGI tools turned on, they’re off by default. Expect a 24 hour turnaround once
   you turn CGI on. PHP is considered part of fatcow’s CGI tools. You turn these
   features on by using the web-based control panel.
 * If this still doesn’t work you’ll need to either call fatcow or use their Live
   Chat tech support option and ask them to check the authorities on your DB. But
   my guess is that you simply don’t have the CGI tools turned.
 * As an aside, Fatcow support has proved to be intelligent and responsive, especially
   if you can give them some direct guidance.
 * Good luck!
