    I solved all problems (obviously several JS issues in some parts of 
   the website) by re-installing wordpress.
 * – deleting wp-includes and wp-admin folder
    – deleting all root wp php files 
   except wp-config.php, htaccess-file – keeping the wp-content folder – copying
   wp-includes, wp-admin and root files from a new download of wordpress.
