    and make sure that “show at most” is not set to 
   0 (zero)</i> Bingo! So this is what changed when I updated! Thanks a bunch!!!

 * Yes, look at it now if you’d like… and now it has a division by zero warning 
   as well:

 * OK, I tried this before, but maybe I am doing something wrong. I did this again:
 * I uploaded the empty htaccess file. When trying to view the htaccess via WP (
   manage>files>htaccess) I get the following:
    Warning: fread(): Length parameter
   must be greater than 0. in /home/…/wp-admin/templates.php on line 73
 * I went to options>permalinks and updated the permalink structure with the default
   one (/archives/%year%/%monthnum%/%day%/%postname%/)
    after making my htaccess
   writable.
 * Still getting the 404.
    Please help me, I am getting desperate…. 🙁

 * not good – I got a 500 internal server error. Purged my .htaccess and tried again–
   still getting a 404.
    Do I need to set my permalinks in a specific format?

 * Thanks – I was trying to do this – but I can’t see the .htaccess when I access

 * To use Pictorialis, I will have to install LL’s version of WordPress. I am reluctant
   to do this because I already modified my own WP and I don’t want to do it all
   over again. Also, I run a multiple author blog, so if I want to have a Pictorialis
   photoblog parallel to the main one, which is ok, my authors will have to login
   twice, whichwill be confusing. The main weblog is not a photoblog, and I just
   want the sidebar basically, with links to big photos, not necessarily with pretty
   formatting. Suggestions?

 * prara – what are “ghosts”?
    I am not going to change my domain name. I’ve had
   it for three years, I like it, and I have a sizeable readership that is used 
   to it. I need another solution. I have written to my provider, let’s see what

 * I did edit it “live” in the WP. It happened twice. I don’t want it to happen 
   again. I agree it is wacky, but it’s what’s been happening.
