 * I finally think I’ve got this fixed and I wanted to update here in case this 
   helps anyone else.
 * I realized that the error on save of the webhook was different than the error
   when the webhook tried to fire. Based on that, I installed the Core Control plugin
   and turned off cURL. cURL was installed and it seemed to be working fine, but,
   by disabling that, I was able to save and fire the webhook successfully.
