 * I also have this issue and can’t figure out the solution. I have also been adjusting
   my date formats, to no avail. Developer please help!

 * I’m using Elegant Themes Evolution theme, and just tried the version at that 
   link. Seems to work the same. I removed the “archive” posts number from the ET
   ePanel Settings, but then it reverted from being limited to 5 (which was in the
   ePanel settings) to being limited to 10 (which is what the global WP setting 
   is set to).

 * Solution, for me anyway:
 * the admin email for the blog needs to be on the same domain that the SMTP server
   settings are. for whatever reason, that made a difference. EVEN THOUGH i had 
   set Subscribe2 to send out emails via another user on the blog whose email address
   was on the SMTP server.
 * hope this helps!
 * (also i opened a different browser app to do a final test, because i think there
   were cookie issues.)

 * I am having a similar problem, no solution yet either but this is what I have:
 * – Godaddy shared hosting
    – Subscribe2 plugin – WP Mail SMTP plugin
 * Results:
    – WP Mail SMTP sucessfully sends out test emails, no problem, so the
   server settings are correct – Subscribe2 successfully sends mass email to subscribers
   directly, via the dialog under “Posts-> Mail Subscribers” – Subscribe2, not sending
   out ANY confirmation emails or ANY notifications of new posts. But new subscribers
   are added to the database, regardless. -Godaddy says there is no problem on their
   end, that there are no email limits and no limits on BCC
 * I’m at a loss of what to try next…
