I think I solved my issue. For some reason my computer was not extracting all the files from the WP zip file. I simply uploaded those on to a flash drive & used another computer to extract & upload. Looks like the issues is resolved. Maybe an anit-virus software issue? I looked at my zipped file & compared it to the extracted& there are definitely files missing. I tried manually to extract it, but my PC said there was an error in copying. * I tired downloading another version, it still has the same issue with extraction. It is a Javascript issue as natarem suggested. I threw in my old JS files with the new & it seems to address some of the issue but not all. Most of the folder are empty – not sure what’s up with that …. * I’ve re-imported my old JS files in the mean time, and then dropped in any files that were new. Now I can edit somewhat, but it’s still not the same. Can’t switch between views of Visual & HTM and still don’t have editing functions like insert a photo. * Here’s an updated screen grab. When I say I was promoted to ‘Upgrade’ it was for my server database. * Again, everything else seems to be working fine, just the posts section is wrong.
