It sounds like your contributor submitted an article that was published immediately, without going through moderation. My plugin does not deal with the workflow, it just sends an email to the admin when there is a new post awaiting moderation, submitted by a contributor. Since in your case the article was published immediately, there was no email. * Forum: [Plugins](https://wordpress.org/support/forum/plugins-and-hacks/) In reply to: [[Pending Submission Notifications] does this work for Custom Post Types?](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/does-this-work-for-custom-post-types-2/) * Plugin Author [razvanh](https://wordpress.org/support/users/razvanh/) * (@razvanh) * [10 years, 9 months ago](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/does-this-work-for-custom-post-types-2/#post-6845960) * Works for other post types as well. * Forum: [Plugins](https://wordpress.org/support/forum/plugins-and-hacks/) In reply to: [[Pending Submission Notifications] Choose user types](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/choose-user-types/) * Plugin Author [razvanh](https://wordpress.org/support/users/razvanh/) * (@razvanh) * [11 years, 2 months ago](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/choose-user-types/#post-6347316) * Agree, it would be a nice feature – thanks for the suggestion. * Forum: [Plugins](https://wordpress.org/support/forum/plugins-and-hacks/) In reply to: [[Pending Submission Notifications] Please make this plugin translateable](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/please-make-this-plugin-translateable/) * Plugin Author [razvanh](https://wordpress.org/support/users/razvanh/) * (@razvanh) * [11 years, 2 months ago](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/please-make-this-plugin-translateable/#post-6400440) * Thanks for the suggestion. * Forum: [Plugins](https://wordpress.org/support/forum/plugins-and-hacks/) In reply to: [[Pending Submission Notifications] Option to email all editors?](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/option-to-email-all-editors/) * Plugin Author [razvanh](https://wordpress.org/support/users/razvanh/) * (@razvanh) * [11 years, 2 months ago](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/option-to-email-all-editors/#post-6329694) * Not at this time but I can see that as something useful.
