 * True. This is a nice plugin. I hope it can be made compatible with Gutenberg.

 * I had the same problem with the network admin giving a redirect loop. I had changed
   the entire network to a different domain name (from justordinaryfolks.com to
   btloc.com).
    I tried everything I could think of via the wp-config, .htaccess
   and all the domain options in cPanel – all without success. I finally decided
   to edit the database files (very DANGEROUS!). I did a search (on all tables)
   for the [http://www.btloc.com](http://www.btloc.com) and edited out the www.
   part on all the options (other than in the posts). After that, it all started
   working. I used the redirect function in cPanel to redirect the old *.justordinaryfolks.
   com to the appropriate *.btloc.com domains.

 * I deactivated on the sub site and network activated. Then, the settings page
   is on the Network dashboard. Not sure that network activation is wise ….

 * Found a work-around. In the NETWORK ADMIN, edit the site and changed the AKA
   Token from 0 to 1 and it sticks. Articles display correctly. Don’t understand
   why it would not stick with the plugin settings.
    I do like the plugin. It works
   great for these two sites.

 * I have seen the same error several times. I have found that if I clear the caches(
   I use W3 Total Cache) as soon as I activate the plugin, then it will connect.
   If it fails the first time, just clear the cache again and try again. Works for
   me.

 * [@marikamitsos](https://wordpress.org/support/users/marikamitsos/) – yes but
   it does not work in the network admin (for site/blog ids or user id). At least,
   I could not manage to get it to do so.

 * BTW, I really *LIKE* that individual themes can be network disabled on their
   entry – rather than clicking the entire list and then mass activate/deactivate.

   That (individual) control would be great on a list of plugins on the network.
   Having an “all or nothing” for plugins is not a feasible plan for my system.
   Example – I use the WP-DBManager as Super-admin. I certainly do not want all
   admins to be able to use it.

 * [@andrea](https://wordpress.org/support/users/andrea/) – Since the base system
   restricts themes at the super-admin level, and since plugins are potentially
   more dangerous than themes, why aren’t plugins restricted at the super-admin?

 * [@dbvista](https://wordpress.org/support/users/dbvista/) – you are correct about
   the exclude plugin. I get the same error. However, all of the plugins that I
   previously excluded are still excluded (thankfully).
    BTW, I left a comment on
   the plugin author’s website.

 * [@andrea](https://wordpress.org/support/users/andrea/) – You are correct that
   to ACTIVATE a plugin has not changed. However, there is no “ADD (or install)
   plugins” at the site admin panel. The button at the top will automatically switch
   you to Network Admin.
    So, t**o INSTALL and Activate a plugin on one site \*is\*
   a 4 step process. **Previously, you could install and the activate immediately
   on JUST the current site (or Network activate – like now). I use that process
   to check out plugins to see if they crash my system or to determine what they
   do BEFORE I release them to all the site admins. Granted, 4 steps is not a huge
   issue. However, considering that it was done in 1 previously, and considering
   that when I am searching for a particular functionality & have to try several
   plugins before finding the one I want – then it is a bit of a hassle on my slow
   server.

 * I use the Exclude Plugins (plugin) to do that. It keeps other admins (that are
   not superadmin) from seeing the plugins that I have “excluded.”
    However, as
   I read [@dbvista](https://wordpress.org/support/users/dbvista/) – the issue is
   with having to switch between Network admin and site admin just to activate a
   single plugin on the main site. It is about 4 steps now – where previously it
   could be done in one.

 * I have been searching for the ID’s also. I even tried some of the plugins that
   used to work and nothing would bring them back to the lists.
    Thanks [@andrea_r](https://wordpress.org/support/users/andrea_r/)
   for the tip. But I agree with [@kyp83](https://wordpress.org/support/users/kyp83/)
   that such use is NOT intuitive. What is the reasoning of removing the ID fields
   from the respective lists. I used them to sort users – since the highest UserID
   is the newest and may need to be “moderated” at times. Although the “Registered”
   field does it, I was just confused. I have always thought that the default sort
   should be last registered at the top. Now, it is a two-step process to get there:
   sort on registered & then reverse sort. And for those of us with slow servers,
   that is a bit frustrating.

 * I just discovered that clicking on any heading **WILL** sort. And clicking a
   second time reverses the sort. Just what I wanted.
    **My bad!**

 * [@khayyam](https://wordpress.org/support/users/khayyam/) – What I do is to autojoin(
   plugin) all admins to my “Site Owners” group in BuddyPress. Then everyone is
   connected and can share/discuss issues. But if you do not have BP, then it would
   not work.
