 * What I did is that I uninstalled quick install by hosting company and manually
   installed wordpress via FTP (filezilla). Now I have editor option under appereance.
   I think, before it was blocked by hosting company if we install wordpress with
   their so called quick install/ click n build option. Hope it help u to solve 
   your problem. Happy site building with freedom.
