Could be a caching issue – Browser or server side. * Please add this custom CSS to remove the website field. Sometimes it may not work if and when the theme is customized differently than WordPress standard functions. You can test this by switching to a default WordPress theme like 2020 and see if it is working with that. * We can give you a custom CSS override to hide it, if you like. However, If the FAQ button is showing in “Active Menu” area then please remove the FAQ button from Active Menu area. Please upgrade and test if the author link removal is OK now. * We found that certain themes code the author URL in a different way. We added an extra hook for that now. Probably not a lot of themes do that. Otherwise, someone else from the 9000+ plugin users would have reported it in the support forum. * Please upgrade and test.
