In reply to: Latest post is missing and ‘manage post’ tabs are incorrectYep, Bernard – the repair DB is what fixed it. I’m afraid to do anything else beyond backing up everything. But if anything else dumb happens, I’ll also check out the Tables as you mentioned.

Thanks, BB! Your suggestion was right on the money. I went into BlueHost.com, logged in, went to the MySQL cPanel admin…. and it says check/repair DB. And that’s what I did, that is all it took, now EVERYTHING IS FIXED! W00T!
Now I’m also in the process of generating a full back-up too.

It’s hosted on Bluehost, so I wonder if they can restore my database??? I simply don’t know how to do it. I don’t have it backed up locally.

In reply to: Latest post is missing and ‘manage post’ tabs are incorrectSo I’ve been playing around with the settings for WordPress and I’m still not able to fix the issue of my missing post or the fact that the manage post tabs are indicating incorrect post numbers/totals.
Is anyone else experiencing anything similar? Any ideas on how I can fix this problem?
