 * but the target url is opening in the browser.
 * Any thoughts on what could be causing the 404 so i can check please. thanks.
 * I dont have any cache. We have a CDN, but i switched it off, went into incog 
   mode, still the same. There is no cache enabled on the server at all, because
   if it was, then all links would fail, but in this case only UAE and KSA are failing,
   the other sites work fine.
