It worked when I:
– Disabled double opt-in from MC4WP
– Disabled “final welcome email” from Mailchimp
– Set the customized Mailchimp welcome email condition to “Signup source” from “any general API” and “popup form”
Thanks Harish. After I enabled Double Opt-in, the subscription confirmation is now being sent.
I was just wondering why the original automated welcome email that I’ve created from Mailchimp gets sent out only via landing page signup form and not via pop-up signup and MC4WP signup forms.
