 * I checked, it’s working in fresh install of WordPress 3.5.
    But when upgraded
   from old version, it doesn’t work.

 * I like the simplicity of this plugin. This is also what I need.
    But it seems
   the problem is with the url structure. The url doesn’t redirect to the download
   page. It shows the home page instead.

 * I’m working on it. In the next update there will be something more interesting.
   
   Improved Theme option page to make user friendly and few other updates. I hope
   you will wait for the update.

 * You should ask your host about this.
    They may have disabled some functions, 
   or may be less memory limit problem.
