I think toggling the CSS beta feature fixed it. But we didn’t change anything while the CSS went from under 50KB to 62KB. What caused this? Alas these images aren’t showing when Polylang is activated. This is a pretty standard WordPress install, so not sure why this is occurring since there is a language set for these image files. It worked with resizing, while creating a grey horizontal bar above the search box and a black line below, when clicking inside the box.
