 * Hi Joe,
 * Thanks for the pointer on using the scale bar in your settings. Somehow I missed
   that.
 * I am working on some presentation details now.
    1. I found an icon for an anchor but not for a sail boat (power boat only). Do
       you know where I might find one for a sail boat?
    2. I will mark the daily progress of my boat with its location at noon each day.
       This will be a waypoint (track points will be every hour). I want to add info
       in the waypoint description that comes up when clicked on. I want to add datetime,
       lat/lon, current speed, current heading and a few more. I can put this info
       in the gpx file bewteen <desc> some text </desc> tags, but I want to force a
       line break between, for instance, “2023-12-23” and “Current Speed: 6.7 kn”.
       Do you know how to do this?
 * thanks,
 * Pat

 * I am using GitHub Pages to host my gpx files and it is working well. 🙂
 * One more question – how do I put a scale-bar on the map? These are leaflet maps
   and the leaflet docs say I can use
 * [leaflet-scale]
 * but that doesn’t seem to work for me.
 * thanks,
 * Pat

 * Hi Joe – Thanks for the reply. Shortcode Files looks exactly like what I need
   but I have not been able to make it work. I don’t currently maintain a server
   so I don’t have a place to put the file. I can set one up if needed but I want
   to make sure this will really meet my needs. Using the Shortcode example in the
   docs
 * [Waymark file_url=”[https://www.waymark.dev/assets/geo/track-ele-only.gpx”%5D](https://www.waymark.dev/assets/geo/track-ele-only.gpx”%5D)
 * is not working for me. Is that file still valid and maybe I have an error on
   my side?
 * thanks
 * Pat
