    I ended up using Buddypress, but still cannot figure out how to
   show the Author’s bio…only the author’s name…it’s a start 🙂 would you have an
   idea? I’ll try disabling some plugins and updating theme…I never changed any 
   files in the theme.

    Title is fine, date is fine, category is fine, but no 
   author’s name for the piece…

   to clean the cache? I’m not using any plugins, just normal WP add post. thanks

    I’m in Appearance->Theme Settings->CSS and I added: #blog-single div.author-
   box { display: none !important; } #blog-single div.post div.post-content { margin-
   left: 0; width: 100% !important; }
