 * No, I am talking about a wordpress.org installation.. but with Jetpack you can
   connect your site(s) to your wordpress.com account and then see statistics there,
   for example on the mobile wordpress app… But like I said, it was just an issue
   of reactivating jetpack on the duplicated site. All good now, maybe it helps 
   someone else.

 * Ok, I just had a look into the whole thing again and I found out Jetpack was 
   the issue. When you duplicate a site with Jetpack you have to deactivate and 
   reactivate Jetpack so you can connect the duplicate site seperately to wordpress.
   com.
