Glad to know that your first problem has been solved.
For your another query to display the amp pages link for desktop an mobile.
As per my knowledge the AMP (Accelerated Mobile Pages) pages are for mobile only.If you display it in desktop then I do not know the impact of SEO.
Right now to add another read more link feature is not available in lite version.

Can you please tell me which AMP plugin are you using?
AMP pages works on mobile only. Right?
As per my knowledge, AMP plugin have built in feature for this.
So it automatically detects mobile device and update the the post URL to AMP version.

It looks like that there may be an issue with shortcode double quote.
Sometime what happens when we copy the shortcode and paste it in to WordPress editor then double quotes are converted to special character and parameter does not work.
Please try to remove the double quote and add it manually.
Please try with the above change and update me for the same.

I have checked your shortcode and found that you are adding category name.
Actually you need to pass category id as a shortcode parameter. You can find category id in web page URL when you edit them in admin area.
Please try with category id. It will work for you.
You can pass multiple ids with comma separated.

Plugin is quite simple and created with shortcode and widgets. There is no setting page.
You can put plugin shortcode any where and it start displaying post slider or post carousel output.
You can control the shortcode with various parameter like
[psac_post_slider limit="5"]– To display only five post.
[psac_post_slider limit="5" design="design-1"]– To display only five post with second design.You can find various shortcode parameter on plugin description page

@dereckstif have you tried to remove the double quote in shortcode and adding it manually again?

Can you please provide me the web page URL on which you had setup the plugin? so I can take a look and try to understand the scenario.
Are you using any cache plugin or server side cache is enabled as you have late changes applied on pages?

As per my point of view, 500 x 500 size will look good in post carousel.
For post slider, I recommend you to check the container size in which you had placed the plugin shortcode.
I think 1000 x 1000 or 1100 x 1100 will looks good for post slider.
