 * Thanks for your reply. I tried this already, but it didnt work.
 * I tried several other ftp programms after cleaning the directory using different
   methods. Yesterday I created a different user account on my computer, freshly
   downloaded wordpress and tried to upload it on a clean server folder. It happened
   again and it is driving me nuts! 🙂
