In reply to: [Easy Modal] Open post content in modal windowI know this is a closed comment… but was curious if you could help! I have this working wondefully thanks to your write up, but was wondering if it was possible to still have the “permalink” address of the single post in the address bar.
So when i click an article title “My Article” – the single.php loads into the modal, but the address remains http://www.mywebsite.com. I would love it had the permalink in the address bar, i.e. http://www.mywebsite.com/2015/09/05/my-article
is this possible?
thanks!!!!!!

In reply to: [Brilliant Web-to-Lead for Salesforce] Adding ID or Class to fieldsOkay, so I debugged in 2.3 and it stated “[13-Mar-2014 02:52:54 UTC] Salesforce: No organisation ID set.”
Which is not true… I have it set globally. BUT, when i put the ID in the Salesforce ID override section, it worked!
So it’s a fine fix for me for now, but hope this helps you for testing the beta.
thanks so much!

just wanted to let you know.. if it’s a lot to deal with the client can deal with values vs. placeholders π

In reply to: [Brilliant Web-to-Lead for Salesforce] Adding ID or Class to fieldsThe form provided by the client had a unique ID for their comment field (a large string of digits and numbers similar to the campaign ID), as in
<textarea name="00XX00XX00XX" id="00XX00XX00XX" placeholder="Comment"></textarea>
Additionally, I have already styled the original form extensively, and would love to be able to just add the ID to each field and not have to change my CSS, but that’s just lazy ;P

In reply to: [Postie] Postie and Remote/featured image issue???thanks for your reply!
unfortunately i changed the add_action call with add_filter, but still the same issue. I must “update” the post manually, OR “Run Postie” manually to get the image to be set as the featured image.
I will await a reply from Mr. Singh! And perhaps research a way to automatically “update” the posts, as to trick wordpress into thinking that I have manually done this.
thanks again!!

In reply to: How can I change the color of the title of ONE post?!Thank you thank you thank you!!!
I’ve tested it on a duplicated template so i can view what i’m doing but not the public, and it works perfectly! thank you SO much!
It’s even opened up a lot of other possibilities now that I can get the post id under control of every post!
again and again!

In reply to: How can I change the color of the title of ONE post?!i haven’t made the post yet… i’m preparing it now and wanted to see if this was possible before i did the post
If you can help me with just any post it would be great. If i understand the post_class function and can make CSS for different Post ID’s in the future, that would be so wonderful and opens up a lot of options, even for advertising.

In reply to: How can I change the color of the title of ONE post?!I had the theme custom built for me (by an ex, long story, haha) so i’m in a little over my head.
I have some knowledge, but not a ton. it looks like the post_class() was NOT used..
is there a way I can implement this?
here is how the working code for the site as it is now..
<div id="content"><!-- content --> <?php while ( have_posts() ) : the_post(); ?> <div id="titlebox"> <div id="titletop"><h2><?php the_category(''); ?><?php the_title( '<h2><a href="' . get_permalink() . '" title="' . the_title_attribute( 'echo=0' ) . '" rel="bookmark">', '</a></h2>' ); ?></h2> </div> </div> <div id ="namebox"><h3>by <?php the_author_firstname(); ?><br><?php the_date('m/d/Y'); ?></h3></div> <div id ="avatarbox"><?php userphoto_the_author_photo() ?></div> <?php the_content(); ?> <?php if(get_post_meta($post->ID, "screenshot", $single = true) != "") : ?> <img src="<?php echo get_post_meta($post->ID, "screenshot", $single = true); ?>" alt="<?php the_title(); ?>" /> <?php endif; if(get_post_meta($post->ID, "url", $single = true) != "") : echo get_post_meta($post->ID, "url", $single = true); endif; ?> <?php echo get_post_meta($post->ID, 'main_image', true); ?> <?php echo get_post_meta($post->ID, 'main_text', true); ?> <?php echo get_post_meta($post->ID, 'more', true); ?><br><Br><Br><br><br><br><Br><Br> <?php endwhile; ?>
so for example, i want post ID 4670 to have the #titlebox be pink…
