The response I got seems quite strange. The reply is asking me to create a second administrative account for my website and to give this company, Inpsyde, the credentials to access administrative control over my account. * Inpsyde is a Woocommerce affiliate but is not Woocommerce directly. I’ve never heard of them and their website is in German. All of this is really strange and suspicious. Hopefully this isn’t Woo’s routine customer support? Referring clients to third party vendors who want full administrative access to the website? * Is there any work around? Does this sound accurate to you? I’m still unclear about whether or not this is a major issue that could cost me somewhow, BUT I disabled the “allow customers to place an order without logging in” check box, and installed a salvo of plugins to limit sign in attempts and hide the login URL for my website. * Before I did this, I removed all of my items for sale. Then once my new measures were in place, I reactivated a few. All orders are coming from email addresses ending in “@tokwapiso.com” and this all started when a “Goro Shigeno” placed 3 orders this morning. I looked up the name and it seems to be some kind of anime character’s name. I only have 1 WP site. It’s just a small, simple personal business site with a shop. Nothing fancy. I own a second domain, but it exists only as a redirect to my new website and is not a WP website. It has no coding or files, just an automated redirect feature I set up in my cPanel. * My plugin page no longer shows Total Upkeep as a plugin. My WP Dashboard menu bar no longer shows Total Upkeep. From what I can tell, TU is what is/was handling the backups. The emails still reference TU as my backup agent. But it’s deleted… **So what is creating the backups?** If it’s not TU/BG, then moving to another forum won’t help. If it isn’t a plugin doing the backups, switching plugins isn’t going to help, right?
