 * It is good that folk are working on this major issue. It is a big disappointment,
   yet we do need to be patient and hope the technical boffins come up with a solution
   soon.

 * I am having exactly the same problem here. I can see the images in the preview
   screen and via my site, but when viewed via the dashboard and in edit mode they
   are all white out and I can no longer edit them. The strange thing is this problem
   only seems to be happening when editing a ‘page’, and not a ‘post’. Images are
   there in posts.
 * It would be great to have a fix on this as this will start to cause major problems
   on pages with multiple images.

 * [@cais](https://wordpress.org/support/users/cais/) Thank you for getting back
   so quickly. I have just submitted a bug support as requested, and I have deactivated
   the few other plugins I have and the issue outlined still remains.
 * To add,I have had no problem uploading images from PC to create new galleries,
   or in managing my galleries, I just can’t get them inserted in a page. I have
   several hundred galleries, and all have worked really well until now.
 * I appeciate your help.
 * Cheers
 * Pete

 * It is good to know that this is now fixed and will be released in the next update,
   so thanks to photocrati again. Meanwhile I have discovered if you format text
   with the bold option the hyperlink pops back out of the grey, but once used it
   reverts back again. You can overcome the grey issue by using the keyboard short
   cut Alt + Shift + A for now if you wish to.
