 * Greetings. I’ve run into the same issue, but found that if I saved the .jpgs 
   in photoshop as ‘Save for the Web’, med or high optimized quality, the images
   displayed properly in IE. Code was the same for those images that did and didn’t
   show on the same page. It all came down to how the image was saved.
