In reply to: [WP Data Access] WP Data Access App BuilderHi @barissefa,
Sorry, but I cannot reproduce this issue. It works on our end. Is the app id in the shortcode correct?
Thanks,

In reply to: [WP Data Access] WP Data Access App BuilderHi @barissefa,
Sorry you are facing this issue.
Can you execute the app from the dashboard as administrator? Does it work on the front-end when you login as administrator? Can you share a screenshot showing your app authorization?
If you have caching enabled, can you please try to clear your cache?
Looking forward to your response.
Thanks,

In reply to: [WP Data Access] Conflict with WordFenceHi Mark,
Thank you for the video. We’ll try to follow up asap.
At this time I can confirm that we can reproduce this issue on one of our development servers. It works correctly on all other development servers. It’s unclear why.
It strangely also works on the development server where we have this issue if we connect to a different local or remote databases. And it also works if we create a loopback and connect remotely!!
Has anyone else been able to fix this issue? We’re greatfull for any help.
Thanks,

In reply to: [WP Data Access] Calculate AgeHi Ian,
If this is a Data Table, you can use a custom javascript function to perform the calculation. This is explained here:
https://wpdataaccess.com/docs/data-tables-advanced-features/advanced-settings/See: Revised javascript example
If this is a data entry form you can use a dynamic hyperlink. I just answered your other question which was related to a similar issue. 😇 You can use that answer for this issue as well.
Does this help?
Thanks,

In reply to: [WP Data Access] Sql to display in my project formHi Ian,
You can use functions in Data Table rows using a view. Unfortunately views are not updatable. For data entry you would need to add a kind of dummy field. I haven’t tried this myself, but it should work with a dynamic hyperlink.
Dynamic hyperlinks are explained here:
https://wpdataaccess.com/docs/data-explorer-settings/dynamic-hyperlinks/Instead of adding a hyperlink you need to perform your calculation using a javascript function which is called from your dynamic hyperlink. You just need to hand over the correct arguments.
Can you give it try?

In reply to: [WP Data Access] Is it possible to disable wildcard (%) searchHi @m3moir,
The standard available search fields are handling the wildcard character correctly using url encoding. If you are adding a wildcard in plain text use %25 instead of %.
We’ll add an extra check to the wpda_search_column_ directive with the next version so the plugin will perform the url encoding if not properly prepared.
Does this help?

In reply to: [WP Data Access] parent – child – how to show/hide columns for child table?Hi @ziemot,
You just need to create a template for your child table. The child template must have the same template set name as the parent.
This is a good page to start:
https://wpdataaccess.com/docs/data-apps-templates/project-templates/Hope this helps. Let us know if you have further questions.

In reply to: [WP Data Access] Integration with elementor proHi @mdeanquin,
You can use WP Data Access shortcodes as Elementors elements, but you cannot add Elementor elements to WP Data Access tables and forms. I guess that is what you mean?
Thanks,

In reply to: [WP Data Access] Integration with elementor proHi @mdeanquin,
Thank you for reaching out.
You can use WP Data Access shortcodes in Elementor, but there is no direct integration. What kind of integration are you looking for?
Thanks,

In reply to: [WP Data Access] cascading ListboxesHi Harvey,
Sorry to disappoint you, but it is currently not possible to cascade list boxes. You could add your own event listeners using jQuery. But there is no out of the box solution.
Sorry,

In reply to: [WP Data Access] Use Button to create a specific searchBuilder queryHi @lilisanfilippo,
The advanced options editor requires valid JSON. The JSON object is used to configure your data table. Single quotes are not valid string delimiters in JSON. You must use double quotes.
See the page for more information:
https://wpdataaccess.com/docs/data-tables-advanced-features/advanced-settings/But why do it the hard way when you can use the extension manager? The extension manager makes it a lot simpler…
Hope this helps,

In reply to: [WP Data Access] The image does not appear in the export PDFHi @agruquero,
You’re getting an error in advanced options because the editor only allows valid JSON. Your function code contains line feeds which is not valid JSON.
There are two alternatives to solve this issue. The first is to write your whole function on one line. 🙈 I guess you don’t want that… 😉
The second alternative is to add an external JS function to your page and call that function from your advanced options. There is example on this page:
https://wpdataaccess.com/docs/data-tables-advanced-features/advanced-settings/Does it solve the issue?
Thanks,
Peter
