So I understand that a plugin can also has a performance impact even when I am working on the backend. E.g. refreshing the users list? * I did email with the support desk. Sorry it took me so long to respond. I do not see the button on the stage site with the subdomain. Hoewever I do see this option on the main site. * On the subdomain I see the following: “Existing WAF Installation Detected: You are currently running the Wordfence Web Application Firewall from another WordPress installation. Please configure the firewall to run correctly on this site.” When I click on the button “Optimize The Wordfence Firewall” I see that I can Include or Override the wordfence-waf.php file. I am not sure what to do. Furthermore I get the warning: “NOTE: If you have separate WordPress installations with Wordfence installed within a subdirectory of this site, it is recommended that you perform the Firewall installation procedure on those sites before this one.” If I understand correctly I first have to update the firewall of the sub-domain and the of the main site. Correct? And then on the main site click on “Remove extended Protection” followed by optimize it again. I just sent the diagnostics report of the **main** site since I have removed the plugin form the stage site.
