 * Thanks so much, but I don’t know how to check the config of the email sys! I 
   took over this site 6 mos ago from a gal who DIED and I have limited knowledge
   of WP. But yes, I read about the SMTP alternative but haven’t installed it – 
   hoping I could find out how to fix it otherwise.
 * I went to the weMail website tho, set up an acct (because I don’t have evidence
   of another) and tried to connect to my site, but was told: **WP site doesn’t 
   support Application Passwords**. (I wasn’t using a password tho, I just entered
   the site URL) then it says to **Please update to WP 5.6+** , but I’m running 
   WP 6.8.3. So I’m confused there as well. Just found the Plugin Editor but afraid
   to try it.

 * My apologies as I’m a beginner with little WP experience and baffled with some
   of this. I replied to your email instead of logging in.
 * weMail is listed as a plugin but BlueHost just confirmed that it’s not configured,
   although it, or whatever is running it thru WP, worked yesterday. I expect that,
   I’ll have to pay for a subscription to reactivate it but I sent them an email
   outlining the problem and I’m waiting for a response.
