 * That error gave me the info I needed!

 * It seems when I updated the plugin the custom field type was no longer supported.
   I reverted to the older version of the plugin on the live site and the photo 
   links appeared!
 * Now the only issue is that the theme does not look the same on the newer version
   of WordPress…

 * Ok I think I’m a little closer. In the Custom Fields section of the wp-admin 
   on the live site the field type of the photo links is “repeater”. On the test
   site it says “Error Field type does not exist”.

 * Hi John,
 * Both are active on the same server in the same filesystem (though one is in a
   subdirectory which is the document root of a subdomain). The dev site in the 
   subdomain has its own database which is an exact mirror of the live site. There
   is no separate php.ini between them. Both are limited to 32MB, hence my confusion.
