  • I had the same problem and it’s also a new blog, so I’m not sure if that has anything to do with it. I did try the FCKEditor, but it had no effect. (although I like it).

    I deleted the extraneous email address, but it still doesn’t work. However, I don’t get a blank screen anymore. Instead I get this;
Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/psloop2/public_html/wp-config.php:27) in /home/psloop2/public_html/wp-login.php on line 9

Then it says I have an incorrect password.

Also, I added a comment on the site and it took me to a blank screen. So everyone is going to have this problem.

My hosting company LivingDot restored my entire site to this past Sunday which is 3 days before I had this problem and it didn’t change anything.

I also deactivated every plugin I had and converted back to the default theme with no luck.

This is the error message I got when I tried to deativate plugins through the back door I have open.

Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/psloop2/public_html/wp-config.php:27) in /home/psloop2/public_html/wp-login.php on line 9

Update. I went in and created another user as an admin and then tried to sign in. no luck, same thing. Now I know that people are not going to be able to sign in. This is a major problem now!

Update. Ok, I was able to get into the dashboard by going to the site. When I went to a comment, it showed my signed in so I hit edit comment and it took me to the dashboard. I went back to where I started to see if the other email address was there and it was gone. I changed my email address to see if that did anything, but when I hit update it went to a blank screen. I hit the back button to get me back to the dashboard and moderated some comments and as soon as I hit enter the screen went blank again. The comments did show up on the site, so it did work, but it seems the blank screen comes whenever I do something.

humm..I am very new to WP and to blogging, but I thought the permalink address was listed at the bottom of the article. After looking at what you have listed above and looking at the mouse over info, I am assuming the permalink is in the Title? So sorry to trouble you. I have been reading for hours now trying to figure this out.
    Thank you..

Just a thought, but can I change the URI in the theme editor to the
file location? So instead of having http://wordpress.org/
    I would have http://letstalkwedding.com/wp-content/themes/classic/
    chocolatebar?

    Thread Starter paul7362

I moved the file into the wp-content/themes/classic/, but no
change. The name of the theme is chocolatebar. I think its theme
83 in the viewer. All the files are within the folder “chocolatebar”
    on the server.
    Thank you for the help
