I managed to recover the website as it was before. I’m ready to try the transition to the new domain once again. * I wonder where did it fail? I have chosen the guidelines for “Moving directories on your existing server”: [https://codex.wordpress.org/Moving_WordPress](https://codex.wordpress.org/Moving_WordPress) but when I moved the website files to the new location, I couldn’t access it. * I created an Addon Domain in my hosting account so I could add the new extra domain there. Could that have something to do with it? Thanks! It actually worked itself out. It seems that WordPress has an inbuilt function to redirect the URLs as soon as we change them.
